In a symbolic display of unity, professionalism, and inter-agency cooperation, the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Tuesday received the newly appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Lagos State, Superintendent of Police Abimbola Adebisi.
The warm reception was hosted by the Lagos State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, alongside the Corps’ Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, at the Command Headquarters in Alausa.
Commandant Adedotun commended both PROs for their dedication to public service and urged them to sustain the existing spirit of collaboration between the two security agencies.
He emphasized that the synergy between the NSCDC and the Nigeria Police Force is critical to maintaining public confidence and enhancing operational effectiveness in Lagos.
“While the NSCDC remains focused on protecting the nation’s Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), we are equally ready to support the Police and all other security agencies in fulfilling their statutory mandates,” he affirmed.
In her response, SP Adebisi expressed deep appreciation to the Commandant and the NSCDC family for the warm hospitality extended to her.She
She described the gesture as a testament to the unity and mutual respect among security institutions in Lagos State.
“Collaboration between our agencies will yield multiple positive impacts on crime reduction, de-escalation, and prevention,” she said, pledging to strengthen the partnership through strategic communication and joint initiatives.
The visit, which underscored the enduring partnership between the two agencies, ended on a note of solidarity and renewed commitment to maintaining peace and order across the state.
