Ranchers Bees FC of Kaduna bounced back from their opening league defeat to Ikorodu City with a convincing 4-0 victory over Abia Warriors at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, on Monday.
The encounter is a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Week 2 fixture.
Zilkifilu Rabiu opened the scoring in the 41st minute before adding his second in the 45th minute to give Ranchers Bees a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Rabiu completed his hat-trick in the 54th minute, further putting the hosts in control of the encounter.
Jamilu Yusuf completed the scoring in the 85th minute to give the hosts a comprehensive 4-0 victory over the visitors.
The Kaduna-based side dominated proceedings and produced an improved performance following their opening-day setback.
Ranchers Bees will be in Kano next to face Barau FC in a week 3 fixture to be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
