The Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International and Convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), Pastor Jerry Eze has advised leaders of Cross River not to eat every food that comes to them.

Speaking yesterday (Saturday, November 23) at the Cross River State Solemn Assembly Season 5 held at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar, Pastor Eze  emphasized that there is enough for one’s needs but never enough for one’s greed.

“Every food is not for you;  we have enough for our needs but there will never be enough for our greed,” he declared.

“What he says to one he says to another. It is easy to sit back and say the pastor is telling them.

“But in that small office where there are three people sharing one office, and there is a file that has to be moved from your table to another and you are insisting on being given a thousand naira before moving that file, remember every food is not for you.

“There are things that will come to you and you say this is not for me, or this can’t be me.”

He said he is excited about Cross River not just because his wife  is from the state but that not every state will bring God to the front burner, or gather people to seek His face.

He also prophesied that God has brought the State through the new, and they should beware of the forces of patterns and cycles.

The Solemn Assembly was themed: ‘Ebenezer – A State Helped By God’, and featured intercession, intense worship and the word.

The Cross River State Deputy Governor Peter Odey, State Chief Judge Justice Akon Ikpeme, Chief of Staff Emmanuel Ironbar and a host of officials graced the solemn assembly.
