A political support group rooting for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, under the banner of the Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS), has reaffirmed its readiness to deliver an overwhelming victory for the governor in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.
The Chairman of the group, Chief Damian Ejiamatu, gave the assurance during a strategic meeting held in Nise, Awka South Local Government Area, where residents from the two wards in the community unanimously pledged their support for Governor Soludo’s re-election bid.
Ejiamatu commended the people of Nise for their solidarity, describing their show of support as a reflection of the governor’s impressive performance across various sectors of the state’s economy.
Governor Soludo has demonstrated purposeful leadership and an unwavering commitment to the transformation of Anambra State,” Ejiamatu said. “From infrastructure development and education reform to youth empowerment and agricultural revival, his administration has brought real change that people can see and feel.”
He assured that the Anambra Patriots for Soludo had already activated its grassroots mobilisation machinery in all 21 local government areas, aimed at ensuring a landslide victory for the governor in the upcoming poll.
Speaking at the event, a community leader, Chief Godwin Okafor, praised Soludo’s developmental strides in Awka South, particularly his road construction and environmental renewal projects, which he said had improved living conditions in the area.
Nise community has benefited from this administration, and we are ready to show our appreciation through our votes,” Okafor declared.
Similarly, Mrs. Ifeoma Nwafor, who represented women leaders at the meeting, reaffirmed the commitment of women in Nise to mobilise support for Soludo, noting that his free education initiative and women empowerment programmes had made a significant difference in their lives.
The gathering, which drew youth groups, traditional leaders, and representatives of local associations, ended with a resolution to intensify door-to-door campaigns in support of Governor Soludo’s second-term ambition.
With communities like Nise rallying behind him, the Anambra Patriots for Soludo expressed confidence that the governor’s track record of performance and integrity will guarantee a decisive victory at the November 8 governorship election.
