Nigerians have dug up an old tweet by Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, condemning the presidential pardon ex president Goodluck Jonathan, granted to former Bayelsa state governor, late Diepreye Alamiyeseigha.
Recall that Alamiyeseigha was governor of the oil-rich state from from May 29 1999 to December 9 2005. On July 26, 2007, he pleaded guilty before a Nigerian court to six charges and was sentenced to two years in prison on each charge. On 12 March 2013, Alamieyeseigha was pardoned by President Goodluck Jonathan, a decision that was widely condemned by many including Keyamo.
