A woman has set the social media abuzz after breaking down in tears and accusing her husband of taking out his frustration over Nigeria’s AFCON semi-final loss to Morocco on her.
In a video currently circulating on social media, the visibly distressed woman claimed her husband became aggressive toward her in the bedroom following the Super Eagles’ defeat, which ended Nigeria’s hopes of reaching the AFCON final.
Speaking through tears, the woman alleged that the incident was not a one-off, stating that it had happened on three different occasions whenever her husband became emotionally upset over football results.
According to her, the tension from the match loss was transferred into their private moment, leaving her shaken and emotionally hurt.
