The 13-year-old phenom finished the final in a commanding time of 24.03 seconds, ahead of teammates Rosemary Nwankwo and Perizide Sigah.
The sweep underscores Nigeria’s dominance in the event, as Ezechukwu becomes the only athlete to top the podium in both the 100 m and 200 m finals at the championships. Her performance helped cement Nigeria’s position as the leading nation in youth sprinting on Day 4 of the competition.
Ezechukwu’s third gold mirrors the powerhouse performance from the U18 women’s 100 m event, where she also claimed gold to lead another Nigerian one-two-three finish.
