Nasarawa Speaker tasks NOA on sensitising citizens to govt. policies, programmes

Speaker, Nasarawa House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, has urged the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to continue to educate and sensitise the people of the state to government’s peace efforts, policies and programmes.
The speaker made the call while playing host to the management of NOA in his office on Wednesday in Lafia.
Jatau said that the Federal Government and Gov. Abdullahi Sule were doing their best in initiating different projects, policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of the people.
He urged them to continue with the good work they were doing in enlightening the people on government policies and programmes.
The speaker lauded the Governor for his developmental strides in the state, with the assurance that he would leave the state better than he met it considering his developmental projects in the state.
“I want to commend you for the good work you are doing in educating and enlightening citizens on government policies and programmes, but let me appeal to you to continue to sensitise communities to learn the National Anthem,”he said.
The speaker assured NOA of his continued support to them to succeed.
Earlier, Mr Augustine Akwe-Doma, Director, NOA in Nasarawa, said the visit was to appreciate the speaker for his purposeful leadership style.
He also commended the speaker for his cordial working relationship with the executive arm, which has brought the needed development to the state.
The NOA director assured of their commitment to sensitise the people on government policies and programmes.
He appreciated Sule for the electrification of NOA office and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
