The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC), Ondo State Axis, has officially announced the launch of its flagship magazine, Redefined Strides. The publication is designed as an institutional register to chronicle student leadership, promote governance accountability, and amplify youth voices across higher institutions in the state.

Conceived under the leadership vision of the NANS JCC Ondo Axis Chairman, Comrade Adekanye Mayomi Adeboye, and overseen by the Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Samuel Agbelusi, the magazine represents a strategic push toward modernizing communication within the student movement.

Speaking on the objective behind the publication on Saturday, October 17, 2026, the council emphasized that documentative advocacy remains critical to sustaining student activism.

According to Chief Press Secretary Comrade Samuel Agbelusi, the project serves both as an informational portal and an archive for future student governance:

”Under supervision, the magazine is expected to improve the documentation of the council’s programmes, engagements, and milestones, while providing students and stakeholders with information about its activities. The publication also seeks to create a record of developments within the student movement, preserve institutional experiences, and provide future student leaders with insights into the council’s activities and achievements.”

The publication features contributions from key government officials and youth advocates, notably Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, Senior Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs to the Ondo State Governor, who served as Chief Launcher for the initiative.

Following its initial digital unveiling on September 26, 2026, via the official NANS JCC Ondo web portal (nansjccondo.com), physical copies are being integrated into the council’s state-wide engagements in Akure.

The focus areas of redefined strides include archiving policy decisions, council resolutions, and leadership milestones across campuses. By also providing a structured medium for undergraduates to address academic policy, welfare, and socio-economic initiatives.

They highlighted collaborative efforts between university management, state authorities, and student bodies.

The council expressed appreciation to all contributors, student delegates, partners, and sponsors whose support facilitated the release. With the rollout of Redefined Strides, NANS JCC Ondo State Axis reaffirmed its commitment to transparent representation and the continuous advancement of Nigerian students.
