​The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 111 personnel from its Special Forces (SF) Course 13/2026, marking a significant boost to the nation’s ongoing air and joint military operations. The graduation ceremony, held at the Regiment Training Centre (RTC) in Bauchi, underscores the NAF’s commitment to intensifying the fight against terrorism, banditry, and other security threats across Nigeria.
The graduates underwent weeks of intensive, specialized training covering asymmetric warfare, counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, and survival tactics.
The newly minted operators are trained to seamlessly integrate into joint military operations, providing critical ground-to-air support and securing vital national assets.
The personnel will be immediately deployed to volatile theatres of operation to reinforce existing troops and sustain momentum against criminal elements.
​”The graduation of these asymmetric warfare specialists represents a vital step forward in our operational readiness,” senior military officials noted during the ceremony, urging the personnel to exhibit the highest levels of professionalism and discipline in the field.
​The NAF continues to prioritize the capacity building of its regiment personnel, ensuring they possess the specialized skills required to navigate and neutralize complex security challenges in diverse terrains.
