The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture has scheduled the third edition of its Business and Investment Forum in Guangzhou, China, as part of strategic private-sector efforts to draw sustainable foreign direct investment and support the Federal Government’s target of a $1 trillion national economy by 2030.
​Timed to run alongside the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangdong Province, the summit serves as a primary deal-making bridge between Nigerian commercial leaders and international industrial conglomerates.
​The initiative is organized in collaboration with key institutional partners, including the Consulate General of Nigeria in Guangzhou and the Guangzhou branch of the China Chamber of International Commerce.
In an event themed: Mobilizing long-term capital and technical partnerships for Nigerian industrial projects. The upcoming forum focuses on shifting Nigeria’s economic profile from import dependency toward robust domestic value creation.
Joint venture discussions, technology transfers, and bilateral agreements will concentrate on five priority sectors: Establishing local assembly facilities and component supply chains.
Agro-Processing & Value Addition, to Upgrade agricultural output from raw export to finished produce, Expanding off-grid solar and clean power technology across commercial hubs.
Partnership will boost pharmaceutical industry: Strengthening domestic manufacturing of essential healthcare supplies and it will develop integrated infrastructure to host export-oriented factories.
​NACCIMA is facilitating participation for state governors, investment promotion agencies, and corporate executives across Nigeria. The delegation aims to present sub-national bankable projects directly to Chinese financiers and industrial operators, leveraging state-specific natural resources and labor capabilities to attract direct capital injection into local communities.
