In Igando‑Ikotun LCDA (Alimosho), LASG is advancing a five-road network project covering Olaiya, Ajibola Hassan, Alhaji Mustapha, Olu Adeyanju, and Rabiatu Ogedengbe roads—designed to improve connectivity across communities in the Abaranje axis.
On January 18, 2025, Governor Sanwo‑Olu unveiled a related five‑road stretch in Lagos Mainland (Somolu & Kosofe areas): St. Finbarr’s College Road, Asani, Tijani Ashogbon, Jagunmolu, Shogbamu, and Diya streets—signaling progress and commitment to rolling out infrastructure equitably.
By mid‑May 2025, the administration had delivered 61 roads and 5 bridges and indicated that work was ongoing on 147 more, with plans to complete the outstanding projects before the end of the current administration (due in 2027).
In July 2025, two major roads—Abaranje Road (Igando‑Ikotun) and Old Dopemu Road (Agege)—were formally commissioned, adding to the 36 roads and 5 bridges delivered in 2025 so far.
So, the five council roads being tracked for completion include:

These are part of the Abaranje‑Igando community road network in Alimosho Local Government/LCDA.

The formal unveiling came in January 2025, aligning with the roll‑out of new infrastructure in the state capital areas.
By July 2025, related roads like Abaranje had been commissioned, suggesting the five-road network is on track toward completion this year.
These projects are complementary to the ongoing delivery of 61 roads and 5 bridges across Lagos in 2025, underlining accelerated execution of road infrastructure.
The roads will enhance intra‑community mobility, especially in Igando‑Ikotun and Baruwa.
