In a move to quell swirling speculation, the Lagos State Government has stepped forward to dismiss claims of a fallout between Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The statement, released Thursday by Gboyega Akosile, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Lagos Governor, was a direct response to rumors circulating on various online media platforms and blogs.
“The reports suggesting any discord between the two governors are entirely false,” the statement emphasized. While the rumors had sparked conversations on social media, the clarification underscores the ongoing collaboration and cordial relationship between the neighboring states, dispelling any notion of tension at the leadership level.
For now, both states continue to focus on regional development and cooperative initiatives, leaving the online speculation far behind.
