Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general elections and former governor of Kano State, on Wednesday arrived at the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Kwankwaso was received at the governor’s office by Seyi Makinde. The NNPP chieftain arrived in the company of several political associates and close allies.
Though the purpose of the visit was not immediately disclosed as of the time of filing this report, the meeting has sparked political interest, given the stature of both leaders in the national political landscape.
Shortly after his arrival, Governor Makinde led Kwankwaso and his entourage into his private office, where discussions were held behind closed doors.
