The Supreme Knight of The Order of Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM), Sir Steve Adehi, has warmly congratulated Nigerian Christians especially members of KSM as they prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in a few days time. He has also wished everyone a progressive and purposeful New Year, which begins in less than two weeks from now.
In a statement conveying his season’s greetings to members of the honoured Order, the Supreme Knight said, “My esteemed worthy brothers and sisters. It gives me great pleasure to felicitate with you and members of your nuclear and extended families at this yuletide season, a season during which the joy of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ permeates our world bringing with it the gift of love, peace, hope and happiness.
“I am indeed elated to share the joy of the season with you, for the first time, as your Supreme Knight, recently elected by you to serve the best interest of our cherished Order of The Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM).
“Worthy Knights and Ladies, I warmly wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As Christ is the reason for the season, we should do only that which will entrench us as good Christians. Beyond the merriment of this festive season is the need for self-appraisal and evaluation of our stewardship as soldiers of Christ.”
He reminded his fellow Knights and Ladies that “the yuletide season invariably calls for soul searching and sober reflection. It gives us the opportunity to reflect on the wrong we shouldn’t have done and the good that we could have done better. It is a time for us to ask for forgiveness from those we have hurt by our words and actions and also forgive those who have hurt us. Let us free ourselves from baggages and enter the new year free in anticipation of God’s bountiful blessings.
“It is also a period for heightened security awareness and a period for greater care while driving. Be rest assured of the maternal protection and intercession of our blessed mother ever virgin. I commend total safety consciousness to everyone
“Let us bear in mind the parlous state of our nation’s economy and readily brace up to the challenge of this trying time. I urge you all to use this period to pray for and reach out to the orphans, the homeless, the sick, and all those who are disadvantaged and deprived. Let us as Knights and Ladies of Saint Mulumba continue to defend the church and its teachings as well as deploy our time, talent, and treasures in the service of mankind.”
Sir Steve Adehi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who was recently voted in, as the Supreme Knight of the Order of Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria in spirit thanked Mother Mary “for her intercession on our behalf throughout the year 2025. We pray for her continued intercession for the remaining part of the year, the New Year 2026 and beyond.
“The New Year 2026 promises to usher in a new dawn of purposeful leadership and quantum progress for KSM. I count on your unflinching support for this anticipated reinvigoration of our honoured Order,” the statement concluded.
