The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the awaited two local government areas out of the 18 LGAs in Edo State.
According to INEC, the PDP scored 26,382 of the total votes cast in Ikpoba-Okha council areas, the All Progressives Congress (APC) 6,338 while the Labour Party (LP) scored 4026.
With these results, PDP has won in seven Local government areas to APC’s 11.
Final announcement of the results will be made later.
