The most detestable name in Nigeria today is Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In the social media, amidst perfect revulsion, people spit out their venom against him for destroying Nigeria in the name of leadership. The worst thing that can happen to a country is for it to be ruled by a man who has the most questionable character and very dubious identity. Tinubu is a very typical example of such a man. Those who made him president in spite of the fact that he lost the presidential election of February 25, 2023, know this. But they sold Nigeria to him. Today, all of us are suffering.
From the day that the founding fathers of this country fought and eventually secured political independence for Nigeria till date, nobody who aspired to become the president of Nigeria, except Tinubu, told Nigerians that he wanted to become the president simply because it was his turn. Nobody was caught instructing his thugs to snatch ballots boxes and run with them like Tinubu.
Every other person who wanted to rule Nigeria except Tinubu worked hard to impress it upon Nigerians that he deserved their votes. Nobody has had a very bad reputation like Tinubu. Nobody’s character has been as dubious as that of Tinubu. Nobody has been associated with fraudulent dealings like Tinubu. Nobody has had bad records like Tinubu.
He is alleged to be a drug baron. He is accused of having an undisclosed dual citizenship. He is accused of forging Chicago State University Certificate. He is accused of forging NYSC Certificate. He is accused of forging NYSC exemption letter. He is accused of faking his date of birth. He could not provide evidence of any of the schools he claimed to have attended. People are asking to know who Bola Ahmed Tinubu actually is.
Not even the clueless Muhammadu Buhari was such a great shame to Nigeria as Tinubu. No Nigerian president has become an object of ridicule like Tinubu. Nobody has caused so much stress for Nigerians like Tinubu. Nobody has reduced Nigeria to a laughing stock like Tinubu. No Nigerian president has been alleged of forfeiting drug money to the sum of 450,000 dollars in the United States of America to avoid going to jail like Tinubu. Nobody has had an extra baggage of criminal allegations against him like Tinubu.
Nobody has made Nigeria’s younger generation lose hope in their country like Tinubu. Nobody has used the money stolen from the nation’s vault to buy the conscience of diverse people, such as clergymen, academicians, bankers, politicians, criminals, hooligans, street urchins, the police, the army, the DSS and so on, like Tinubu.
Nobody else has used his position to destroy the honour and the good reputation of hitherto celebrated Nigerians like Tinubu. As a leader, Tinubu has become an infectious disease. Anybody he happens to gets his reputation going down the drains. Nobody’s vaulting ambition has destroyed the judiciary as that of Tinubu.
In the light of what has become the tragic fate of Nigeria, it is only a depraved Nigerian that will not shrink in shame to tell people in any part of the world that the most questionable character called Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the president of his country. By implication, the politicians that are defecting and joining APC should submit themselves to serious psychological test.
If they are honest enough to admit that they are defecting and joining the APC to enable them have greater access to steal our nation dry as Tinubu and his criminal gang have been stealing, there is no need for the test. You do not recommend a psychological test for somebody who is frank no matter how wicked his action might be. But if they claim that they are joining the APC in order to help and make Nigeria a better place for all Nigerians, the test becomes a necessity because it shows that something is fundamentally wrong with them without their being aware.
Tinubu did not break all the laws in the land to become president in order to make Nigeria a better place. Neither Tinubu did not commit all the atrocities he is alleged to have committed in order to make Nigeria a better place for all Nigerians. On May 29, 2025, he told us that he would continue the so-called good works of Buhari. It is to be recalled that the most glaring aspect of Buhari’s good works is the opening of the Nigerian border and bringing in the terrorists that have been killing Nigerians, particularly Christians.
Tinubu has excelled in continuing the so-called good works of Buhari as he continues to play the ostrich while Nigerians are being slaughtered in hundreds on a daily basis by Islamic terrorists. As we watch the offending drama that has been unfolding in the country, the remarkable social media influencer, Randy Peter Akah (aka Peter for Nigeria) has a message for all of us, those who are taking shelter in Tinubu and APC and every other Nigerian suffering from the Tinubu affliction.
He told us that Tinubu has turned the National Assembly into a ceremonial obedient institution where he treats the legislators as Lagos schoolboys. He told us that we should not panic about the coming together of the criminals in power since their coming together would help Nigerians to know who their real enemies are and then be able to fashioned out ways and means of tackling them.
If Tinubu likes, he said, let him turn the whole country into APC party; let him make the 36 state governors, the 109 senators, the 360 representatives, the 774 local government chairmen, the judiciary and the INEC to defect to APC. It does not matter. What happened in 2023 will not be repeated. On the day of the election, Nigerians will tell the criminal gang that Nigeria belongs to all of us.
The big question is: How many Nigerians are ready to put into practice all that the young man has been saying about the power of the people and the urgent need to take the country from the criminals ruling us? All that I am doing in this article is to draw our collective attention to the great danger posed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s determination to turn Nigeria into one party state. If Nigerians allow him to succeed, all of us, particularly our children, will live to curse the day they were born into the world as Nigerians.
In 2023, when Tinubu he had strong oppositions, out of which one party other than his won the presidential election of February 25, 2023, it meant nothing for him as he became the president. And since then, he has been ruling Nigerians the way the Egyptian Pharaoh ruled the Jews exiled in Egypt.
On October 14, 2025, during the swearing-in of 20 new commissioners and members of various boards in the State in Benin City, the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, directed that the commissioners in the State should be wearing Tinubu cap to State Executive Council meetings as a mark of loyalty to Tinubu, the man who is causing Nigerians so much harm.
Based on that directive, we were further informed that the Edo State Chairman of APC, Jarrett Tenebe, warned the commissioners that any of them who failed to abide by the directive would be suspended from the party. This is just the beginning, a tip of the iceberg. It is not only when these people go berserk and start shooting everybody at sight that we shall know that they are mad. This madness has overwhelmed all of us because many prominent Nigerians are afraid of confronting the criminals that have hijacked Nigeria by foul means.
It evokes a sense of horror to imagine what Tinubu will do to Nigerians if his one party mania scales through. He will be daringly ruthless. He will become a combination of Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, Idi Amin Dada of Uganda, and Josef Stalin of Italy, Attila the Hun of Hungary, Adolf Hitler of Germany, Pol Pot of Cambodia and Francisco Macias Nguema of Equatorial Guinea put together.
Every Nigerian is not as mad and greedy as most of our politicians are. Hence, if the 2027 elections will be free and fair, Tinubu has already failed. But it will not because Tinubu is brutal. But no matter how brutal he is if Nigerians allow him to get away with his mad ambition in 2027 as he did in 2023, the first thing he will do is to change the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and make himself a life president.
In fairness to the Yoruba nation, the hardest critics of Tinubu’s administration are Yoruba people. Among them are Rufai Oseni, Seun Okinbaloye, Dele Farotimi, Omoyele Sowore, and many others. But in spite of these great men, if Tinubu is not stopped, he may likely change the name of Nigeria to Oduduwa Republic. Evidences about to prove that he has started his Yorubanisation Process in earnest.
He will harden his heart more, stifle his conscience, and become more impervious to criticism. When the conscience of the leader of any country is dead, that country is dead. Nigeria is dead. It is not just dying. Nigerians must not allow Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be the president of Nigeria beyond May 29, 2027, to ensure that he does not bury the country.
Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a former nationalist, a former Afenifere leader and an honest politician who was known for his advocacy for democracy, justice and true federalism, warned against Tinubu becoming the president of Nigeria in 2023. He said: “If Nigerians vote for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, Nigerians will suffer. At 94, I may not be alive. While you suffer from the wrong choice of voting for Tinuibu. I will be resting peacefully in my grave.”
Adebanjo lived to see Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and the enemies of Nigeria in the Supreme Court impose Tinubu on Nigerians as their president. He did everything possible to save the situation, but the evil forces refused to give way. Consequently, on March 28, 2023, at the end of their monthly general meeting, Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-political and economic organization, under his leadership, issued a communiqué in which they resolved as follows:
1. The result of the lawful votes at the Presidential election available to the Afenifere through credible sources, confirm that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, won the said election and we, thus, support his decision challenging the contrary declaration by the INEC.
2. Re-assert that for equity, fairness, national cohesion and peaceful corporate existence, the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be person of its southern part and specifically the South-East.
3. Condemn in the strongest terms, the campaigns of calumny and acts of ethnic violence deployed by some politicians and their hired criminal gangs in several parts of the federation during the gubernatorial election particularly Lagos State where the election was made to appear like an inter-ethnic war between the Yoruba and Igbo which greatly led to voters’ suppression and other forms of deliberate brigandage.
On February 14, 2025, Chief Ayo Adebanjo died. Having played his role as a credible statesman, an advocate of justice and a man who perceived some dangers coming and warned Nigerians against it, he is now resting peacefully in his grave while Nigerians are suffering and lamenting under Tinubu’s senseless dictatorship as he predicted.
It is my honest conviction that Tinubu has initiated a process that has not only destroyed Nigeria and the moral perspectives of our younger generation. More tragically, he has initiated a process that may be the beginning of the end of the geographical and political entity called Nigeria.
