Chairman of the Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has publicly declared that he has given his life to Christ, describing the decision as a deeply personal and transformative moment in his life.

The businessman made the disclosure during a conversation with Pastor Jerry Eze, where he openly spoke about his decision to fully embrace the Christian faith. He described himself as a new person in Christ and expressed a strong desire to grow spiritually.

“I am a new creature in Christ, a human after Christ. I have given my life to Christ. This was my personal decision. Nobody prompted me,” he said.

Obi Cubana revealed that he has committed himself to regular church attendance and spiritual growth, stating that he wants to deepen his knowledge of God and live according to Christian principles.

He further noted that he deliberately chose to make the announcement public as a way of affirming his faith and accountability.

“I will be going to church every Sunday. I want to grow in the knowledge of God. I believe God will use me to lead many people to Christ. God has given me influence, especially among the youth,” he stated.

Pastor Jerry Eze confirmed that arrangements have been made for Obi Cubana’s discipleship and spiritual guidance, expressing confidence that he would grow steadily in faith and positively impact lives, particularly young people.

Obi Cubana also addressed critics, urging them to respect his decision and remain positive, as he looks forward to using his influence to promote faith and hope.
