This is what a “working vacation” is. PBAT is happy. He is glowing. His strides are “walking” too.
His smiles are lighting up Paris.
Our collapsed national grid darkens a nation that hugs darkness again and again.
The happiest President in the world is from a sad country, saddened, burdened, and frightened by various uncertainties.
French President Emmanuel Macron has to manufacture a blithe smile for this “private lunch” which could be the most important of PBAT’s “diplomatic meetings” while in Europe.
PBAT turns up for the lunch –
Dapper.
Dandy.
Natty.
PBAT looks good.
Does it matter how Nigeria looks?
Is it important that the sadness and darkness these days interrogate hope and inter it?
PBAT is the only one entitled to hope. And he renews it frequently by these visits which have Paris as the hub.
The year has enough days left to accommodate a few more visits. After a “private lunch” a “private breakfast”, a “private dinner” would be in order.
Bon appétit, Monsieur PBAT.
