The Bola Tinubu Support Organisation (BTSO), in Kebbi, says the rescue of the Maga Secondary Schoolgirls should serve as a renewed call for collective action against insecurity in the country.

The State Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Adamu Attahiru, stated this in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.

He said the incident had once again underscored the need for closer collaboration between citizens, governments and security agencies in tackling the persistent security challenges facing the country.

“The incident once again underscores the need for closer collaboration among citizens, government, and security agencies in addressing the country’s persistent security challenges.

“Insecurity affects all Nigerians irrespective of political, ethnic or religious affiliations.

“Such a national concern must not be reduced to political mockery or divisive narratives,” he advised.

Attahiru urged Kebbi residents and Nigerians at large to support the deliberate efforts of government and security agencies.

“This is aimed at restoring peace and security.

“The success of ongoing operations depends greatly on public cooperation and community vigilance,” he said.

The coordinator prayed for sustained peace in the state and across the country, and for continued protection and success for security personnel working to stabilise affected communities.
