The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of Federal Government Parastatals (FORCEPA) has mobilised more than 100,000 supporters to storm Kaduna for the official kick-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign, scheduled for Saturday.
The group, comprising over 500 chief executives of federal agencies, formally declared its endorsement for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing newsmen at a press briefing in Abuja, the Forum’s leadership outlined an expansive campaign roadmap, revealing plans to rally an estimated 10 million total votes across the nation to ensure continuity for the administration.
Speaking on behalf of the organisation, FORCEPA Coordinator Dr. Kazeem Raji emphasized that the massive deployment of personnel and supporters for Saturday’s rally in Kaduna State reflects the group’s commitment to grassroots engagement and institutional synergy.
Dr. Raji explained that members have already been deployed to coordinate local logistics, engage critical stakeholders, and ensure full participation at the campaign launch. Dr. Raji noted that the Forum’s backing is rooted in the necessity to consolidate ongoing structural and economic policies under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He maintained that economic difficulties facing the nation stem from decades of structural vulnerabilities that require sustained execution rather than frequent disruptions. Pointing to foreign reserve growth and macroeconomic stabilization measures as early signs of recovery, Dr. Raji urged the electorate to grant the administration a second term to solidify these gains.
Outlining the broader political timeline, the Forum revealed that the Kaduna event marks the start of a multi-zone campaign strategy. Following Saturday’s launch, the presidential tour will proceed to key regional hubs, including Port Harcourt in Rivers State and Maiduguri in Borno State, aimed at maintaining public engagement leading into the election year.
FORCEPA reiterated its call for peaceful, disciplined, and law-abiding participation from all supporters throughout the political cycle, concluding with its unified campaign message: “One good term deserves another. Continuity for consolidation, leadership for transformation, renewal for a greater Nigeria.”
