First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has publicly expressed her appreciation to women leaders across Nigeria for their support of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and the broader objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
In a New Year message delivered yesterday in Abuja, Mrs. Tinubu acknowledged the efforts of Vice President’s wife Nana Shettima, governors’ wives who serve as RHI state coordinators, spouses of National Assembly members, ministers’ wives, service chiefs’ spouses, and other women leaders nationwide.
The First Lady commended their dedication to the RHI’s mission, which aims to empower women, promote social welfare, and advance initiatives aligned with the government’s developmental agenda. She noted that their contributions have been instrumental in driving the initiative’s programs across the country.
Mrs. Tinubu urged the women leaders to continue championing the goals of the RHI, emphasizing the vital role of women in fostering social cohesion, community development, and national progress.
The message reflects the First Lady’s commitment to engaging and mobilizing women as partners in governance and national development, particularly in advancing policies and programs that enhance the welfare of vulnerable groups and strengthen the country’s social fabric.
