The Federal Government has reiterated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated fairness, equity, and inclusiveness in the governance of the country since assuming office.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja on Sunday, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the administration has taken deliberate steps to ensure that no section of Nigeria feels marginalized in the distribution of appointments, projects, and policies.
According to Idris, President Tinubu’s approach to governance reflects his long-standing belief in unity and national cohesion. He cited the federal appointments made so far, the even spread of infrastructure projects, and reforms in critical sectors as proof that every region of the country has benefitted from the current administration.
“Mr. President has been guided by the principle of fairness and justice in every decision he has taken,” the minister stated. “From the cabinet composition to strategic interventions in infrastructure, agriculture, and social welfare, all sections of Nigeria have been given a sense of belonging.”
He further noted that the government’s economic reforms, though challenging, are designed to create opportunities for all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation.
Idris urged citizens to rally behind the administration, stressing that unity and cooperation were vital for the success of ongoing reforms.
“The Tinubu administration remains committed to building a Nigeria where equity and fairness are not mere slogans but realities felt by every citizen,” he added.
The minister also dismissed claims of regional favoritism, insisting that critics should focus on the bigger picture of national development rather than narrow political sentiments.
