Former Governor Ayodele Fayose said he does not support the emergency rule declared in Rivers State or the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara by President Bola Tinubu.

Fayose who stated this in an interview said, he was once a victim of emergency rule when former President Olusegun Obasanjo got him removed as governor of Ekiti. He described the action as “unfair and unjust”.
