Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has called on citizens to remain committed to peace, unity, and mutual respect across religious and ethnic lines as Muslims across the country celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
In her 2026 Eid-el-Fitr message marking the conclusion of Ramadan 1447 AH, the First Lady emphasized that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity and the ability of its people to live together in harmony despite differences.
She urged Nigerians to uphold the values of tolerance and understanding, noting that national cohesion remains essential for sustainable development and progress.
