Davido has announced that his sixth studio album, ORIADE, will be released on July 31.
The Afrobeats star, whose real name is David Adeleke, announced the release date on his X account, where he also unveiled the album title. ORIADE follows the release of 5ive in April and marks his sixth studio project as well as his 15th anniversary in the music industry.
The 13-track album draws inspiration from Yoruba culture, with its title symbolising a crowned destiny and fulfilled purpose. It expands Davido’s catalogue, which includes Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023) and 5ive (2026).
Davido’s Timeless received a nomination in the Best Global Music Album category at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, while its hit track Feel earned a nomination for Best African Music Performance.
