CONDOLENCE
You may call it a mourning, a sad occurence, a loss, a tribute, a eulogy, and an end to a living being. You are not wrong. But I call it a celebration of life and rejuvenation of the Gospel.
My condolences to his family, the Fulani and Kurama tribes, the good people of Kaduna state, and indeed the Christian and Muslim community in Nigeria.
Eternal rest grant unto David Ayuba Azzaman O’ Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

THE NAME AZZAMAN AZZAMAN
Some names are magical, some are magnetic, while others are epidemically infectious. Some are enigmatic.
Interestigly, the mere mention of the name Azzaman Azzaman sends shivers down the spines of some people on the other side of the religious divide.

In order to shed more light on the efficacy, potency and power of a name, please allow me to further illustrate the symbolism, significance, and weighty nature of the name Azzaman, using William Shakespear’s tragedy comedy, ‘Julius Caesar’ in Act I Scene II as a fulcrum.
In this tragedy, Cassius speaks to Brutus on why Brutus should challenge Carsaer’s authority to the throne. The plot to kill Caesar had begun by Cassius pushing Brutus to act :
“…..Men at sometimes are masters of their fates. The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves that we are undelings.
“Brutus” and Caesar” ? Why should that name be sounded more than yours?”
Write them together, yours is as fair a name.
Sound them, it doth become the mouth as well.
Weigh them, it is as heavy.
Conjure with them, “Brutus” will start a spirit as soon as “Caesar.”
Upon what meat does this our Caesar feed.”

Well, my dear reader, Cassius and Brutus eventually succeded in assasinating Julius Caesar, the greatest Roman Emperor of all. In the same manner, they plotted and killed Jesus of Nazareth on the cross.
Like Julius Caesar, Azzaman Azzaman, Martin Luther King, General Murtala Mohammed, President Kennedy, and many other greats were men who sacrificed their lives on the Altar of service to humanity.

THE MAN AZZAMAN AZZAMAN
Fearless, fiery, famouse, bold, intelligent, muslim convert, charismatic preacher and Christian Apologist who came, lived, saw, stooped and conquered.
Reverend David Ayuba Azzaman is the man of the moment.
He was a Reverend evangelist/missionary until after the ill-fated car accident that claimed his life on Saturday 24/5/2025 along Kachia – Kaduna road while returning from Makurdi on a crusade.
✓ He was born in 1971 to Mr.and Mrs. Ayuba Azzaman.
✓ He lived and schooled in Zaria, where he read Agricultural Science;
✓ Pa Ayuba Azzaman, David’s father was a Fulani man by tribe and married Ayuba’s mother, a Kurama woman;
✓ His father was a muslim but got converted, jettisoned Islam and embraced Christianity ferociously;
✓ His father took Christianity with every seriousness and went into Missions with the whole of his life;

✓ David Ayuba Azzaman, in his secular life, worked as a Farmer, Teacher and Banker with several Bank Awards;

✓ Like his father, he abandoned the lucrative Banking job, answered the call of God and took to evangelism;

✓ He was an astute Christian Apologist and in that foray, God used him to convert several Muslims who are now standing firmly for the Lord;

✓ He was consistently an outspoken man, especially concerning Christ. He was fearless and remarkably bold;

✓ He ventured into areas where many others recoiled – engaging dangerous Muslims in debates and nullifying their satanic sources!

MARRITAL LIFE
David Ayuba Azzaman got married to Miss Agatha Raymond Angani.
She is the second daughter of Sir and Lady Raymond Angani KSM (both late) and they are of the Atyap tribe from Southern Kaduna.
Their marriage is blessed with very hard working healthy children.

DEATH WHERE IS THY STING
It is said that great men are usually outlived by their great deeds and times. Therefore,
Azzaman Azzaman is now larger in death than in life, more feared by his detractors in death than when he was alive because his spirit lives on.
Christians should not fear nor falter. We should not be despondent because God will raise other Azzamans to carry on with the spread of the Gospel from where David Ayuba stopped.

GOOD BYE GOOD MAN
Azzaman Azzaman was a good family man.
He is survived by his wife, Agatha and children, brothers, sisters, uncles and aunties, friends and friends in the Lord.
Among them is Professor John Gambo La’ah the maternal uncle of Mrs. Agatha David Azzaman.

EPITAPH
Reverend David Ayuba Azzaman Azzaman was a true soldier and ambassador of Christ.
If by any chance I were to be given the honour to write the epitaph on his grave, it will be :
HERE LIES THE WARRIOR
