‎‎Recent online reports have suggested that Bianca Ojukwu was part of the Federal Government delegation that travelled to United State to meet U.S. Congress members over the alleged Christian genocide. This report is false.
‎
‎According to the official reports, press statements, and verified news sources, the delegation was led by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and included top security chiefs and senior government officials. Her Excellency Bianca Ojukwu was not listed anywhere among the delegation members, and was not mentioned in any official list or the U.S. counterparts who hosted the meetings.
‎
‎The bigger concern is how a U.S. Congressman publicly identified individuals claimed to have visited him, without verifying their names or official positions.
‎
‎Nigerians are therefore requesting Congressman Riley Moore to
‎
‎Clarify the identities of those who met with him.
‎
‎ Explain why an official statement from his office contained names not found in the actual Nigerian delegation.
‎
‎ Provide transparency to avoid further misinformation at such a sensitive time.
‎
‎A clear information is important to the public especially on a serious issue like this. Anything less only fuels confusion and misinformation.
‎
‎Congressman Moore owes the public a clear explanation to resolve this mix.
