Controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, who is widely known by his online moniker VeryDarkMan, has made startling claims regarding the arrest of popular lifestyle influencer Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky.
According to VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky was apprehended at the Seme Border while allegedly attempting to flee Nigeria for the neighboring country of Benin Republic. The activist’s assertions come amidst a backdrop of investigations being conducted by the House of Representatives into various allegations surrounding Bobrisky.
In a post on Instagram, VeryDarkMan stated, “Bobrisky was arrested this morning at the Seme Border while trying to enter Benin Republic to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by Nigerian immigration.”
This news follows a significant development in the ongoing saga: Bobrisky’s failure to appear before a House of Representatives panel that had summoned him to clarify issues related to some viral audio clips that had surfaced online.
In those recordings, Bobrisky purportedly admitted to engaging in corrupt practices, including bribing officials to evade imprisonment.
Furthermore, he allegedly claimed that his godfather had played a crucial role in getting his money laundering case dismissed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This series of events has led to heightened scrutiny around Bobrisky, and his reported arrest adds another layer of complexity to the unfolding situation.
