The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has said its recent electronic membership registration and party congresses demonstrate a strong model of democratic organisation and institutional discipline within the party.
The party’s spokesperson in the state, Seye Oladejo, made the assertion in a statement issued on Friday, noting that the exercises reflected the APC’s commitment to innovation, internal democracy and the development of strong party structures.
Oladejo explained that the successful electronic membership registration exercise showed the party’s ability to deploy modern systems to improve its internal processes and organisational efficiency.
According to him, the initiative highlights the APC’s determination to embrace technology while strengthening its grassroots structures across the state.
“From the resounding success of our electronic membership registration exercise to the seamless conduct of our party congresses, the APC has proven that structure, innovation and order are not mere slogans — they are our culture,” he said.
Oladejo added that while some political parties focus on public disputes and propaganda, the APC remains focused on building strong institutions and sustainable political structures.
“While others trade in confusion and press statements, we build systems. While others quarrel over factions, we strengthen institutions. While others manufacture propaganda, we consolidate progress,” he stated.
The APC spokesperson further noted that the congresses were conducted peacefully across wards and local government areas in the state, in line with the party’s constitutional guidelines.
He said participation in the exercise was massive and the process was orderly, reflecting the unity within the party.
“Across wards and local governments in Lagos State, our congresses were conducted peacefully, transparently and in strict compliance with constitutional guidelines. Participation was massive and the process orderly,” Oladejo said.
He concluded that the outcome of the exercises showed a united and forward-looking party prepared for future political engagements and governance responsibilities in the state.
