As Onitsha Metro Crowns Him The Generalissimo
Another fitting feather has been added to the well decorated and honour filled hat of the Supreme Knight of The Order of The Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM) Sir Steve Adehi, SAN, CKSM, KCSS as he was last Saturday crowned the Ochiagha (Generalissimo) of KSM.
The prestigious title was bestowed on him by the Onitsha Metropolitan Council of KSM in recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to the Order.
The decoration ceremony took place in Enugu on Saturday, July 18, 2026, where members of the Onitsha Metropolitan Council praised Sir Adehi’s unwavering commitment to strengthening KSM and advancing the ideals of faith, service, integrity, and charity.
The honour acknowledges his contributions to the growth of KSM Nigeria and his efforts in promoting unity, discipline, and the core values of the Catholic lay organisation across the country.
According to an account of the event culled from The New Citizen members of the Order described the award as a fitting recognition of Sir Adehi’s exemplary leadership, noting that his tenure has inspired greater commitment among members while enhancing the visibility and impact of KSM’s activities.
The Ochiagha (Generalissimo) of KSM title is regarded as a mark of distinction reserved only for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and selfless service to the mission and objectives of KSM.
Congratulating the Supreme Knight, members of the Onitsha Metropolitan Council expressed confidence that the recognition would further inspire him to continue providing visionary leadership for the Order and supporting its humanitarian and evangelisation initiatives.
