“It is an honour to present the plight of Ndi Enugu youths, especially regarding insecurity, before the Honourable Minister for Defence, who was ably represented by his Technical Assistant, Maj. Gen. Jubril (Rtd). I am grateful for his assurance of renewed commitment to tackle these security challenges in the affected areas,” Ambassador Ugwueze said.

The significant sitting of the Assembly attracted notable personalities, including the Chairman of the Senate Committee on North Central Development and Senator representing Benue North West Senatorial District, Sen. “Our goal in YAN is clear: to bring the youths closer to the government and the government closer to the youths. This is the only way we can empower the next generation to take action and secure the future we all deserve,” he concluded.

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria continues to serve as a formidable platform for amplifying youth voices and driving meaningful engagement towards national security and development.
