The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled four African legends to conduct its interclub quarter-final draws on Tuesday in Cairo.
The draws involve the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The ceremonies will hold at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters in Cairo.
The Confederation Cup draw begins at 13h00 Cairo Time (11h00 GMT).
The Champions League draw follows at 2 p.m. Cairo Time (12 p.m. GMT).
Both events will be streamed live on CAF’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
The legends are Radhi Jaïdi (Tunisia), Momo Sissoko (Mali), Emad Moteab (Egypt) and Manucho Goncalves (Angola).
CAF said their selection reflects its commitment to honouring past heroes of African football.
Jaïdi won multiple domestic titles with Espérance and earned over 100 caps for Tunisia.
He was part of Tunisia’s 2004 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad.
Sissoko featured for top European clubs in Spain, England and Italy.
He represented Mali at several AFCON tournaments, including a third-place finish in 2013.
Moteab enjoyed a decorated career with Al Ahly, winning several domestic and continental titles.
He helped Egypt win three consecutive AFCON titles in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
Manucho starred for Angola at the 2010 AFCON on home soil.
He also had a professional career across Europe.
Eight clubs qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals.
They are Al Ahly, Al Hilal Omdurman, AS FAR, Espérance, Mamelodi Sundowns, Pyramids FC, RS Berkane and Stade Malien.
Eight teams also reached the Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
They are Al Masry, CR Belouizdad, Maniema, Olympique de Safi, Otoho d’Oyo, SM Alger, Wydad Casablanca and Zamalek.
