Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has denied allegations that she stole $40,000 (approximately ₦56 million) from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The denial comes shortly after her best friend, Ann, was reportedly arrested by the lawmaker over alleged theft and conspiracy.
The screen star has firmly rejected the claims amid her ongoing marital crisis with Senator Nwoko.
Regina Daniels, speaking during a live broadcast, “It’s confirmed, it’s true, and I’ve verified that it’s Ned. There is a warrant on everyone, including myself.”
“He is claiming that we stole $40,000 from his house, yet he doesn’t even keep money at home. So how could we have stolen $40,000?”
