Participants entertained the audience with traditional music, colourful attire, dances and other performances reflecting the richness of their respective cultures.

Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chairman, Chanchaga Local Government Area and organiser of Rep Your Tribe, Hajiya Safiya Nasidi, said the initiative provided an opportunity to celebrate cultural heritage, strengthen community relationships and create opportunities for young people to discover and develop their talents.

Nasidi encouraged artistes and other participants to take advantage of the event to showcase their talents, represent their cultures with pride and use their abilities to promote positive messages.

She added that the talents displayed at the event could create opportunities for young people beyond the stage and open doors to a brighter future.

The presence of the governor’s wife, Hajiya Fatima Bago, further highlighted the significance of the cultural celebration as a platform for promoting the preservation of indigenous traditions and encouraging appreciation of the state’s diverse cultural heritage.
