High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, the Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, has urged residents of Oyo State to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, maintaining that the President deserves a second four-year term to consolidate his administration’s socio-economic reforms.

Speaking through representatives at a campaign rally on Thursday, October 15, 2026, held at Liberty Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State, Tompolo argued that crucial policy initiatives, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and increased Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributions to subnational governments have laid a firm foundation for sustainable national growth.

To bolster grassroots outreach across the state, Tompolo handed over 32 operational vehicles to the executive members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement. The fleet is expected to facilitate ward-by-ward canvassing and voter engagement across all local government areas ahead of the upcoming general elections.

Addressing attendees at the venue, Comrade Sunday Asuku, National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, called on youth groups and grassroots organizers to actively communicate the benefits of the administration’s economic policies to voters.

Furthermore, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District, commended the logistical support provided by the movement’s leadership, assuring that the resources would be deployed effectively to maximise voter mobilization throughout the state.
