Ibom Air has appointed Mr Mfon Udomah and Dr Eno Udoma-Eniang as Executive Directors, Finance, and Legal and Corporate Affairs, respectively.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued in Uyo on Monday by Mrs Aniekan Essienette, the airline’s Group Manager, Marketing and Communication.
Essienette said the appointments were aimed at repositioning the airline for a new phase of growth and improved service delivery.
She said Udomah, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), was bringing in more than three decades of experience in both the private and public sectors.
According to her, Udoma-Eniang, a legal practitioner, had over 30 years of corporate experience spanning telecommunications, financial services, and emerging technology sectors.
“Both Executive Directors will resume work immediately, while the Board will ratify their appointments at the Annual General Meeting in November,” she said.
Essienette also announced the retirement of Mr Uko Udom, Akwa Ibom Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, from the airline’s board after five years of service.
She said the board appreciated Udom’s contributions during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavours.
