The senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Adeniyi Adegbonmire, has urged Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election, saying the administration deserves more time to consolidate its ongoing reforms and projects.

Adegbonmire, who is also the All Progressives Congress candidate for Ondo Central, made the call while speaking on Adaba FM in Akure on Thursday. He said the Tinubu administration was working to improve the country and bring relief to Nigerians.

The senator said the reforms introduced by the administration should be viewed as long-term measures aimed at building sustainable systems and institutions. He urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Ondo Central, to support Tinubu and other APC candidates at the 2027 polls.

Adegbonmire also highlighted what he described as investments in infrastructure and economic development, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, rail infrastructure, airport development and aviation safety. He also cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as an initiative providing financial support to students in tertiary institutions.

The lawmaker further said improvements in foreign exchange stability and the growth of Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves to above $50 billion could strengthen investor confidence and help the country withstand external economic pressures. He maintained that continuity was necessary to consolidate the administration’s ongoing programmes.
