The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, has introduced several reforms aimed at improving efficiency, professionalism and service delivery across the federal public service.
Walson-Jack has focused on transforming the civil service through measures designed to strengthen institutional performance and improve the capacity of public servants to deliver their responsibilities effectively.
The reforms include efforts to promote digitalisation, enhance staff development and encourage innovation in government operations. The initiatives are also aimed at reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks and creating a more responsive public service.
The Head of the Civil Service has continued to emphasise professionalism, accountability and ethical conduct among civil servants. She has also advocated the adoption of modern technologies and improved working systems to make government institutions more efficient.
Walson-Jack’s reform agenda is aimed at building a public service that is more productive, citizen-centred and capable of supporting the Federal Government’s development priorities. The initiatives are expected to strengthen the effectiveness of federal ministries, departments and agencies in delivering services to Nigerians.
