The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 2,500 personnel along with 50 operational vehicles, heavy-duty tow trucks, and ambulances to manage traffic and ensure safety during the Osun State governorship election.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed stated that the strategic deployment aims to maintain smooth traffic flow, clear obstructions, enforce movement restrictions, and provide swift emergency medical response throughout the election period.

The operational plan focuses on major highways, inter-state borders, critical intersections, and routes leading to INEC offices and collation centres across the state.

The FRSC urged motorists, political parties, and voters to strictly adhere to electoral traffic regulations, observe speed limits, and respect the restriction on vehicular movement during polling hours, assuring the public of seamless collaboration with other security agencies to guarantee a safe electoral environment.
