The Kwara State Government has approved cash backing for payment of the new salary scale for promoted teaching and non-teaching staff of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in the 2025 exercise.
The commission’s Press Secretary, Sam Onile disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Ilorin.
Onile said the approval by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has demonstrated his administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare, motivation, and career advancement of workers in the state public service.
The Press Secretary quoted the commission’s Chairman, Malam Bello Tauheed, as appreciating the governor for his consistent support for the education sector and for prioritising the welfare of teachers and other personnel.
The chairman assured that the commission would immediately commence the necessary administrative processes to ensure the seamless implementation of the approved promotion cash backing in line with established government procedures.
He urged members of staff to remain dedicated, disciplined, and committed to the discharge of their responsibilities, noting that the present administration would continue to reward diligence, professionalism, and excellence in service.
