Gov. Umo Eno has reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing viable projects inherited from previous governments in Akwa Ibom.
Eno gave the assurance on Thursday in Eket while inaugurating two road projects completed by his administration, including the 2.4-kilometre Ikot Akpanabia Ikot-Urua/Udo-Inyang Road and the 2.4-kilometre Internal Road Network at Mkpok Estate Phases I and II.
He said the Ikot Akpanabia Ikot-Urua/Udo-Inyang Road was inherited from the immediate past administration and completed by his government to improve residents’ living standards.
The governor noted that the roads would enhance the movement of people and goods, adding that several other road projects in Eket were progressing at various stages of completion.
Eno thanked the people of Eket for their support and assured them of continued infrastructure development, while urging residents to protect and properly use the public facilities provided by the government.
