Elder statesman and prominent political leader, Chief Chekwas Nwosu, has lauded the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for transforming the architectural and infrastructural landscape of the nation’s capital since assuming office.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Nwosu expressed profound satisfaction with the rapid execution of multi-billion naira projects across the city center and satellite towns. He noted that Wike’s pragmatic leadership style has restored confidence in governance and revived the original Abuja master plan.

”What we are witnessing in Abuja today is a total infrastructure revolution,” Nwosu stated. “In a short period, the Minister has turned the FCT into a massive construction site, completing abandoned projects and initiating critical new ones to ease traffic congestion and boost the local economy.”

Acceleration of bypasses, flyovers, and inner-city road rehabilitation that have significantly reduced commute times. Extension of development projects outside the city center to ensure rural communities feel the impact of the administration.

Commending the strict supervision of contractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and up to standard.

Nwosu urged residents of the FCT to support the minister’s initiatives, emphasizing that sustainable development requires public cooperation, tax compliance, and civic responsibility.
