The Ogun State Government has announced the promotion of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) as a cornerstone of its comprehensive climate strategy. This initiative aims to transform the state’s waste management landscape by converting everyday refuse into a viable, sustainable waste-to-energy solution.

By adopting RDF technology, Ogun State plans to process municipal solid waste into industrial-grade fuel, drastically reducing the volume of waste destined for landfills while lowering the carbon footprint of local industries.
