The 4th Indian-African Forum Summit (IAFS-IV) was postponed in May 2026 due to a resurging Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa primarily the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda.

Originally scheduled for May 28-31 2026 in New Delhi India. This would have been the fourth edition of the summit. The previous summit was held in 2015, also in New Delhi.

On the 21st of May 2026, India Ministry of External Affairs and the African Union issued a joint statement postponing the event after stating that the decision was made to protect delegates, government representatives, health workers, and international visitors expected to attend the event.

A new Summit date will be announced later, it will be rescheduled once health authorities declare the situation safe for international engagement.
