The greatness of any nation is a function of the resilience and hardwork of her citizens. While many transverse the face of the earth unsung, some others like our own Deji Sasegbon, are light bearers and pathfinders for prosperity, excellence and wealth of their immediate communities and the nation at- large.

Deji Sasegbon, fondly called De- Sash Worldwide is one Nigerian that is spotted often when one look at the catalogue of men and the very few people whose endeavour has come to meet preparedness.

And when those forces meet, excellence is born and that is probably why you find one out of a thousand of such people. Born on April 1, 1953 to an erudite medical practitioner and his amiable wife. De- Sash Worldwide as l fondly called him, was a big brother from another parents who derives joy in protecting the young and the vulnerable.

He had his earlier years in school from the prestigious grange school, to Comprehensive High School Ayetoro and graduated from the law department of the famous Uni-Ife as it was then known but today, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife. A workaholic of sort, De- Sash was a man of Candour who once he sets his mind on achieving a particular goal, never rest on his oars until that goal is achieved.

A multi- task boss, though from a distance was seen by many who were not opportune to have close nitt with him as a hard dude. Worldwide, was a very resourceful and kind soul who will do just anything to make his friends and those around him comfortable and happy.

Despite all his successes in life, he was very accessible, amiable, humble with no ere’s around him. He abhors laziness and most times put his workforce on their toes. As a man of great letters, he remained one of the good things that has happened to the justice system in Nigeria as his books such as CAMA, till date remain a most sort after good reference material and companion to most successful lawyers and law firms in sub- Saharan Africa.

De-Sash Worldwide, put up a good fight against a protracted illness but eventually succumbed to the cold hands of death and quietly joined the saints triumphant in the early hours of December 10, 2016.As you are always on our mind, We say adieu a di- tribalised Nigerian as your footprints will remain on the sands of time.
