Oluwakemi Oyeteju James, fondly called Kemi, left this world too soon, leaving behind a husband, Hon Michael Effiong James and two children. Her passing is a reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of cherishing every moment.
Prof Jose Mourinho, one of my best World role model & a renowned football coach, once emphasized the importance of showing concern for those who have lost loved ones. He advised calling them immediately and attending funerals if possible. Inspired by his words, I sympathize with Hon Mike Effiong, a colleague and good friend, on the passing of his wife.
Kemi was a devoted wife, mother, and businesswoman. She was the MD/CEO of Limelight Catering Limited and will be deeply missed. According to the burial plans, the Service of Songs will be hold today March 31, 2026, at Stella Hall of Daystar Christian Centre( wake keep), followed by the Funeral Service on April 1, 2026.
Her legacy lives on through her family and loved ones. Kemi’s story is a testament to the impact one person can have on others. Her life, though cut short, will continue to inspire and motivate those who knew her.
