Popular entrepreneur and socialite, Obi Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has been appointed the South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement. Iyiegbu made the disclosure on Tuesday through a post on his official Instagram page, where he shared details of a visit by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
According to him, Seyi Tinubu personally delivered the letter and certificate of appointment during a late-night visit to his residence on Monday. The Anambra-born businessman said the meeting went beyond the formal presentation of the appointment, as both men engaged in extensive discussions on national issues and other matters of mutual interest.
Describing the visit as warm and familiar, Iyiegbu referred to Seyi Tinubu as a long-time friend and brother, noting that their conversation covered a wide range of topics affecting the country. The appointment places Obi Cubana in a key coordinating role for the City Boy Movement in the South-East, a development that has already drawn attention across political and social circles.
