Most Nigerians who resent Igbos for reasons best known to them and other gullible Nigerians who joined the age long National bandwagon of Igbo haters has one thing in common. They all see Igbos as the “Enemies within” against the progress and advancement of Nigeria. If it’s within their power, they will like to see Igbos exterminated from Nigeria.
Apart from been seen as enemies within, Igbos are called different derogatory names by both common Nigerians and the elite, including the Dot Nation.
But I Edwin Onyekachukwu ChukwudireObi is asking Igbos to accept that tag of enemies within as a very good name for Igbos.
If being Enemies within” against tribalism, nepotistism, terrorism, corruption in low and high places, impunity by those in power, marginalization, ethnic cleansing and religious genocide is what qualifies Igbos as *”Enemies within”, I think the name correctly fitted Igbos well.
Igbos will continue to be unapologetic for supporting honest, competent, fair, uncorrupt and just candidates during presidential elections and the hatred most Nigerians has for Igbos will make them support evil, corrupt, unjust, greedy and nepotistic presidential candidates just to spite Igbos and to grow their hate industry built to attack Igbos.
Unfortunately, they more Nigerians invest energy to hate and spite Igbos-the more hardship, suffering and terrorists overrun Nigeria and make her a disgraced country before the committee of nations. The hatred for Igbos will forever be the albatross of Nigeria.
Let us see how Nigeria will progress or advance to become a modern nation without the Igbos. As for those Nigerians who see Igbos as partners in progress in the Nigeria project, Igbos say thank you for associating with the light. They will never group in darkness
