Daily Query News has just obtained a news report details of a landmark agreement between the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu and Template Consulting Limited, Lagos Nigeria, to establish the IMT Security Academy Enugu. This state-of-the-art academy will specialize in cybersecurity and conventional security training, offering diploma and certificate programs in various fields.
According to sources, the academy will utilize IT-driven learning options, including physical, virtual, and hybrid models, and will leverage artificial intelligence to enhance its programs. The academy will also offer specialized training, forensic analysis, security audits, background checks, and security capacity building for teenagers.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Gozie Ogbodo, Rector of IMT Enugu, and Mazi Dr. Agodi Kanu, President of Template Consulting Limited. In his remarks, Prof. Ogbodo described the partnership as a result of “tedious conversations and understanding towards establishment of a world-class security academy.”
Dr. Kanu, a proud alumnus of IMT Enugu and the National President of IMT Alumni Association, expressed gratitude to the Rector and Institute for the confidence reposed in Template Consulting. He called for support for the academy, stating that it will be a global center for delivering security and safety solutions.
The IMT Security Academy Enugu is set to enhance security beyond the shores of Southeast Nigeria, and both parties have expressed optimism about its potential to draw greater recognition and respect for the IMT brand.
The Academy will also partner with security agencies for comprehensive delivery.
